We offer high quality wood restoration and refinishing to the greater San Francisco Bay Area for projects both large and small. We work throughout Marin, Sonoma, Napa and in the East Bay, including Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Sebastopol, San Rafael, Mill Valley,West Marin, Calistoga, St. Helena.

I specialize in on-site work, with additional work done at my shop. I take great pride in my work, which is rooted in my love of wood, my commitment to craftsmanship, and my respect for preservation goals. I responded to many clients need to find and solve finishing and restoration solutions for their wood furniture, kitchen and bath cabinetry, built ins, counters, entranceways, walls, beams, doors, trim and moulding, pianos, stairs and floors.

I execute blended repairs where spills, burns, scratches, ringmarks, urine and water stains occur when damage is specific to an area and not throughout. I appreciate the challenge of problem solving and finding solutions. Also in regards to color, compatibility and adhesion issues as well as having a wear resistant long lasting protective coating with the ability to control the clarity and sheen appearance. Choosing the right products will improve results. For those amongst the chemically sensitive we offer low voc alternatives. Creative and appropriate selection of refinishing and restoration methods and techniques. I also custom mix pigmented wiping stains, sealers and finishes. Whether you envision an old world traditional look or a contemporary look, I have the expert skills to bring your project to life.
