Description

Markc O'Connor is an American bluegrass, country and classical fiddler, composer, music teacher and the New Century Chamber Orchestra's 2010-2011 Featured Composer and soloist.

His studies of a wide variety of uniquely American musical styles have helped him form his own unique style that he calls "a new American Classical music." He has a style that is all his own and "Waltzing in Appalachia" will provide the audience with their first foray into the world of O'Connor.
