Viva Fest returns to San Jose with a Mariachi Mass at Cathedral Basilica of San Jose (July 26), workshops at San Jose City College (July 25-29) and concert at San Jose State University Events Center (July 30). This festival gathers the community together as a celebration of the Mexican culture.With different events presented throughout the summer in various San Jose locations, Viva Fest showcases the best in Latino music, film, art, education and dance workshops. This festival provides activities for all: young and old, musicians, artists and filmmakers. Musicians include local artists as well as those well known.
