Description
Many of you heard Kristin Hoffman as the vocalist with Bella Gaia in October. Rather than a vocalist who writes a few songs, Kristin is an incredible and prolific singer/songwriter who lives in New York – and also happens to sing with Bella Gaia! If you were at the BELLA GAIA Concert last October, or were fortunate enough to be in the audience for her concert a week later, you know how incredibly great she is. Otherwise, let me just say there is “no way to be prepared for the magnitude and magnificence of a Kristin Hoffmann concert!” – ESPECIALLY IN AN INTIMATE VENUE WITH FINE SOUND AND ACOUSTICS like Studio 55 Marin. Ask anyone who was lucky enough to be there! Take the plunge to hear & see for yourself! Tickets now on sale: http://tickets.brightstarevents.com/event/3909949 (don’t wait too long, and bring someone special to share the evening with…)Her concerts are transformative, inspiring events that are both unforgettable and mind-blowing. With numerous albums, performances and star appeal over the past decade, it’s a joy to present her for the 2nd time in the Bay Area at Studio 55, the premier music listening room in Marin. Kristin will be accompanied by Larry Kassin & Barbara Borden and other special guests!

Kristin Hoffmann offers a uniquely beautiful blend of pop and classical styles. Kristin is a singer-songwriter who has a gift, one we can all experience through her ability to be open. As a human compass, she navigates through her own waters right into ours, with sound, like poetry without words. Her perfect pitch is a serene perfume. We, as an audience, are the witnesses & we watch as she volunteers her soul’s journey.
Similar perhaps to Tori Amos, Stevie Nicks, Fiona Apple, and Joni Mitchell, she easily slides into a Tina Malia or Donna De Lory or Bonnie Raitt vein at a moment’s whim, switching with ease between guitar and keyboards. With half a dozen powerfully varied releases over the past decade and praise-filled reviews, Kristin is an artist to embrace, discover and move mountains with!
“Hers is the best new voice I’ve heard in two years.”
“Although she hardly shies away from realworld concerns, her moody chamberpop songs tend to be more inward directed, blending neoromantic piano, terse lyrics and Hoffmann’s nuanced, sometimes delicate, sometimes explosive vocals.
This one sums it up, from a recent concert in New York City: “Kristin delivers an expertly crafted amalgamation of styles, masterfully woven together and exquisitely presented with an incredible precision. Kristin’s smooth as silk voice was not confined to a singular carriage, but rather was a delightfully impeccable suffusion of techniques, merging succulent tastes of zesty pop and smooth jazz, intimately tailored to the song and perfectly seasoned by her impeccable execution.”
Finally, “Kristin Hoffmann is endowed with a unique style coupled with a powerfully moving voice, and is obviously a woman with a passion for perfection. Innovative and intensely interesting, truly engulfing and full of emotion, the Kristin Hoffmann experience is both immensely enjoyable and deeply touching at the same time. At the conclusion of the concert, you realize that she has achieved a most perfect balance.”
