"Feb is a National Pet Dental Month. Dental Care: 20% Off In Feb".

Vaccines: 20 % Off Mondays

University Veterinary Hospital is a full service facility that provides high quality and thorough medical care to dogs and cats. Our staff is highly skilled, yet very compassionate and caring. Every member of our team understands that pets are part of your family and should be treated as such with compassion and delicacy. Our services include taking care of lameness, bone fractures, hip and knee problems, skin and ear issues, eye problems, behavioral issues and urinary issues. Our emphasis is to provide customized vaccinations (not every pet needs vaccines every year) and preventive medicine with a goal to not only prolong but strengthen your pets bond with your human family members.

University Veterinary Hospital is conveniently located at 810 University Ave, right off the freeway 80. Being close to the freeway without the obstruction of traffic lights, we are proud to serve clients from as far as Hercules and Pinole to Oakland, Clairemont, Alameda and all the cities in between. Beside all local clients from Berkeley, El Cerrito, Albany, Emeryville, we are frequently told that it is easier and faster to get to our facility than to get to the nearest Vet in client's own town.

Our facility is maintained nicely with the comfort and ease of people and their pets in mind. We are proud to offer the latest in technology (Like x rays, in house blood test machines for immediate reports when every minute counts, video scopes for deeper ear, nose and throat exams, a state of the art dental suite and dental x ray to provide ultimate dental care for the pets and get them out of the silent sufferings of tooth root infections that remain hidden from outside visual exams. We have our own parking lot in the back of our building.
