Summer in San Jose, galumphing in the Plaza de Cesar E. Chavez fountain. You can't go wrong with a fountain. Water is intrinsically fun and pleasing on a hot humid day. The high-falutin Fairmont Hotel towers over the Plaza. The fountain is located directly where Old City Hall stood. So much bad legislation ... lost in time.

Many dog owners bring their pups here for a free washing. The dogs get washed as they try to "bite" the water.
