If Lawrence's head was a tad more pointed, he would resemble one of Benny's sleek Polar Bears.

Henry Miller wrote of Bufano, "He will outlive our civilization and probably be better known, better understood, both as a man and artist, five thousand years hence."

It is just as likely that "futurians" will view his work as child-like lawn ornamentation. Not that there is anything wrong with that - I myself am in the market for a small fountain to put on my balcony, perhaps one with a frog shooting water out of it's mouth.
