"Knuckle crack the bone, 21 to win
Dead I am the dog, hound of hell you cry
Devil on your back, I can never die."

I stopped dead in my tracks. What was advertised by the park as a "mineral springs grotto" was obviously something entirely different. Being somewhat versed in un-dead architecture (I had read the timeless work of Al Hess on the subject, his Ghoul Ritual Altar Sites - Gothic to International being the standard), I knew immediately I was looking at an albino altar for animal or human sacrifice - probably both.

Sure enough, I found some poodle bones in the scrub close by, and strange markings on the altar rocks - identifiable as spells of the most pernicious variety. One in particular caught my eye, the dreaded curse of eternal scabies, Scabititae Eternum Eratabarus. I averted my eyes immediately, but felt a strange itching on my fingers and wrists - probably just my imagination.

The scene gave every indication of being the work of Thelma and Doris.
