I crossed the bridge without incident and continued down
Mineral Springs Loop Trail. A cement room built into the side
of the hill was probably a torture chamber used by the un-dead
to torment visitors who failed to leave the park before nightfall.
Little is known of the horrors that took place behind this
metal door, but some speculate, based on the remains found within,
that some poor souls were forced to watch the movies of Robin
Williams until they were driven stark raving mad. One account
has it that a man, of powerful mind, was able to withstand over
six and one-half hours of this torment before lapsing into irrecoverable
psychosis. |
