About
The Trans-Sierra Club operates the Trans-Sierra Xtreme (TSX) Challenge, an annual series of guided 75 mile backpacking treks across Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The inspirational journey traverses some of the most remote regions of the Sierra Nevada before culminating with an ascent on Mt. Whitney (elev. 14,505 feet), the highest point in the lower 48 states. Our treks are open to individuals of all ages. Since 1983, our founders have taken over 500 ambitious individuals on the week-long trans-Sierra trek.
