Innovative Tretorn Mobile Retail Shop Will Offer Rubber Boots

Tretorn, the Swedish heritage label renowned for its performance and leisure footwear, is hitting the streets of San Francisco in the Tretorn Wellie Wagon, a mobile van selling rubber boots in a different location each day through early May, setting up shop alongside the city’s most iconic landmarks, neighborhood hotspots and under-the-radar local favorites. Painted an unmistakable blue with bright yellow writing and covered in bumper stickers, the Wellie Wagon will offer a rotating inventory of men’s and women’s styles of rubber boots at any given time to reflect the city’s current weather. The Wellie Wagon is designed to take the concept of a pop-up shop one step further, not only allowing consumers to “shop seasonally” for exactly what they need, exactly when they need it, but bringing the product directly to consumers all over the city.

“The combination of the thriving community of outdoor enthusiasts, the spring weather and the diversity of the population makes San Francisco an ideal city for Tretorn,” said Loris Spadaccini, General Manager of Tretorn North America. “We are so happy to be able to call this city home this spring, and look forward to bringing a little bit of Swedish Goodness to the Bay Area.”

The Tretorn Wellie Wagon will also partner with San Francisco businesses and charities, offering discounts and other promotions throughout its stay in the city. Tretorn will donate $1 from every boot sold to the San Francisco Neighborhood Parks Council (www.sfnpc.org), a citywide nonprofit that works to ensure city parks remain clean, safe, enjoyable and a top priority at City Hall. Tretorn is also a partner sponsor of the San Francisco Noise Pop music, art and film festival.
