The State Store also proudly supports and is supported by the movement to restore a stronger campus-based California State University identity at the CSU's campuses, and in particular at the CSU's founding campus in San Jose (aka "San Jose State"). Thus, in addition to being for Californians and others who love California, The State Store is also a store for students, alumni, educators and other Californians who advocate restoration of balance between state and city identities in the California State University system as a whole, and in particular at its founding campus in San Jose (presently know as "San Jose State").
