The Space Between Us explores issues of experience in contrast to what is known. By omitting light, do we feel more contemplative, quieted or dis-quieted? By a subtle change in our surroundings, can our senses be heightened and thus our viewer response more personal? Six artists working in sculpture, video, performance and installation create work that exists in darkness and challenge formal display practices while evoking, sometimes, inexplicable feeling.
