About
The Shee Theatre Company produces plays and performance material created by women and/or addressing women’s concerns. We are especially interested in new plays, and introducing Bay Area audiences to performance texts from abroad. We strive to provide opportunities for women artists to exercise and expand their artistic life within the theatre and community. The Shee seeks to promote a dialogue between artists, audiences and communities through theatrical productions, which explode social constraints and transform beyond prevailing definitions of “Woman.”
