The Point Chophouse & Lounge is a neighborhood restaurant and bar where generations of local families and friends meet to celebrate with our selection of good food, draft & bottle beer, local wines and premium cocktails.
"THE POINT" pays homage to the Pleasure Point area of Santa Cruz in which we are located. A landmark for over 35 years (formerly portola house) has been reborn into great neighborhood restaurant & bar. We consider ourselves a steak house primarily with a emphasis on our version of comfort food, but whatever you choose to eat we promise it will be our best. Whenever possible, we chose local sustainable food services and vendors. We use only USDA Prime Aged 100% Black Angus.
