“The Best Sports Bar in Palo Alto” has been holding things down at The Farm since 1964. Old Pro has 24 screens showing everything from the NBA to the NHL to European club soccer. The menu features simple yet sumptuous food from local source, like pork belly sliders, Kobe beef tacos and portobello flatbread with truffle oil and goat cheese. Plus, they have an extensive selection of local craft brews, California wine and pizzas that they’ll top with an egg or prosciutto for a little extra. The place has a casually gourmet vibe that might just be enough to convince a reluctant friend to come along to watch the game.

Cheap drinks and a mechanical bull might not sound like the wisest combination, until you watch your friend get tossed across the room. The Old Pro in downtown Palo Alto has cheap pitchers for happy hour before the game, and those not planning on heading to the stadium can still watch sports on the wall of TVs. Don't be afraid to dig into the menu too: they serve food until 1am, making this a great post-game spot as well.
