A rising force on the jazz scene, pianist and composer Danny Green carves out a space for himself with his beautifully articulated touch and memorably intricate compositions, weaving together jazz, Brazilian, and classical music. Two-time winner of Best Jazz Album at the San Diego Music Awards, Green has been featured in DownBeat Magazine, the Boston Globe, the San Diego Union-Tribune, JAZZed, Jazz Weekly, and Pubic Radio International’s “Jazz After Hours” program.Green and his stellar trio, including bassist Justin Grinnell and drummer Julien Cantelm, will perform his original compositions, jazz standards, and Brazilian jazz classics. They have performed at renowned jazz venues and festivals across the country, and will be featured in the San Jose Jazz Festival this summer.
