About
Starr is renowned for his bright, vibrant oil paintings that evoke both Impressionism and Surrealism. Jeff Starr paints on 5 major themes: California, Europe, Japan, Portraits and Dreams. In a style reminiscent of both Van Gogh and Salvador Dali, Starr has covered such diverse subjects as Harajuku Girls, Himeji Castle, Kyoto, Palais Garnier, Sufjan Stevens, The Eiffel Tower, The Golden Gate Bridge, The Palace of Fine Arts, Macchu Pichu, Prague, The Charles Bridge, Franz Kafka and Nikola Tesla.
