About
This workshop uses Pat Schneider's approach (the Amherst Writers & Artists method) to create a safe, supportive and healthy writing community for people of all ages, backgrounds, genre interests and skill levels.
We meet and write together once a week for ten weeks. My goal is that after each meeting you leave excited about your writing, enjoying a growing clarity regarding the strengths of your unique writing voice, and eager to get back to the page.
I have been facilitating workshops for fourteen years in the East Bay, and more than ever I love working with writers of all levels of experience. Check out www.temescalwriters.com for more information, and give me a call at 510-653-4576 (or email me at [email protected]). Let’s talk about what you want for your writing, and what the Workshop can offer you.
Next Workshop: Wednesday, Oct. 7 - Dec. 16, 2009.
Review of Workshop by long-time participant Marti Paschal: "I have gained so much from the Temescal Writers Workshop: having a sacred time for my writing, receiving a variety of writing prompts & exercises, hearing different voices during the course of a session, and above all, having a safe, supportive space to experiment and develop my writing voice and writing projects. I highly recommend the workshop and its group leader, Joan Marie Wood, a kind and talented writer."
