About
Itching for an iPhone? Can't imagine life without your cell phone? Well, you're not alone--web applications and online communities are increasingly going mobile. This month's discussion will focus particularly on mobile communities and the challenges and benefits these present. We'll be joined by Ben Rigby, the founder and current Co-Executive Director of Mobile Voter as he talks about how Mobile Voter works to mobilize young people via new media. Come join us August 27th, our regular fourth Wednesday of the month, for Ben's presentation that will lead into a group discussion on mobile communities and strategies for engaging participants. Looking forward to seeing you then for an informal, informative, in-person meeting with fellow online community professionals and enthusiasts.
Date: Wed. July 23rd, 7 PM
Location: TechSoup headquarters, 525 Brannan Street, Suite 300, San Francisco
