The thing they have going for them is great location around the Junior College in Santa Rosa. I lived at the Garden Apartments for 10 months and I would suggest NO ONE EVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. The on-site manager was helpful, but Tracy, the lady in the office in Novato, sure has her panties in a bunch. From leaving threating and antagonizing letters on all tenants doors, to hanging up the phone on tenants and prospective tenants, constantly threatening to evict, sue, etc. this lady (to put it kindly) has done it all. Not to mention, the complexes are horribly maintained. If your a gang member or a hooked on meth and on SSI, rent from Syrus. I've seen several armed robberies, assults, acts of mass vandalism and the management never did ANYTHING to remedy any of this. As far as getting your $1200 deposit back, well you have better luck getting struck by lightning twice. If I had the means and the time, I'd take these people to court for any number of reasons, but with half of the complex empty and the buildings up for sale, I don't think they have any more money than the tenants they abuse and steal from.
