About
My therapy style is engaged and collaborative. I am a good listener, and when appropriate I enter in with insight or helpful advice. I have found talking things through with an accepting, empathic counselor can help you make sense of your experience and make positive choices. I help people dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, codependency, and other issues.
Some of the reasons people come for couple counseling are infidelity, trust issues, communication, sexuality, premarital counseling, disagreements about finances or parenting. I find that when I help each member to fully express his or her needs, we can discover creative, loving solutions to problems.
I have worked with people in all kinds of relationships. I welcome people in LGBTQ and polyamorous relationships.
