The Bay Area's longest-running alt-rock extravaganza is back with BFD 2017, a festival whose lineup lives up to its famous acronym yet again. But before plodding through the sweaty crowds at Shoreline, head to The Ritz this Friday for an irresistibly affordable, intimate sneak peek at the festival to come. South Bay alternative veterans Strata headline the pre-party, with direct support from Picture Atlantic, who recently released their latest effort "ASSOUF." Also on the bill: Oakland-based Indie electronica artist Birthday and longtime Live 105 DJ and program director Aaron Axelsen on the ones and twos.
