About
Located in the heart of the Financial District, Stacey's was established as a medical bookstore in 1921 by John W. Stacey, who broadened the store's shelves to include technical and professional books in 1946 and general trade books in the 1960s. Today, Stacey's still has the best technical, medical, computer and business selection in San Franciso, and also features an outstanding array of fiction, literature, poetry, travel and general nonfiction titles, covering three floors and over 10,000 square feet. Intended to cater to the downtown business crowd, Stacey's is a great place to wander when you need a break from your real life.
In-store author readings during the lunch hour and affiliate author readings after work.
