Description

Sophie Milman took the musical world by storm with her debut album, topping jazz charts in the US, Canada, Japan and France, and packing some of the world’s most prestigious clubs and concert halls. Her second album earned Sophie a Juno award, Canada’s equivalent of the Grammy. She continued to earn critical acclaim with her third album, Take Love Easy. With her fourth album slated for release this fall, this Russian–born, Israel–raised, Canadian chanteuse will bring to Filoli her own multi–cultural jazz sensibility, and do so with style, grace and sophistication well beyond her 28 years.

Filoli hosts world-class entertainment during six Sunday afternoon jazz concerts on an outdoor stage surrounded by graceful oak trees, where guests are pampered by gracious Filoli volunteers. A Jazz at Filoli ticket includes all-day admission to Filoli, snacks and drinks, including beer and white wine during the concert and free parking. Gourmet box lunches are available for purchase in advance.
