About
A group that meets together monthly to provide feedback on specific screenwriting issues presented to the group (feedback on premises, loglines, scenes, treatments, sequence outlines, etc.), this group meets throughout the city including the Mission, Bernal Heights and the Presidio. Meetings occasionally include actors invited for script readings. While the group is supportive, creative and unpretentious, this is not a writer's block support group to lament the fact that there aren't enough hours in the day to write. We're a group of screenwriters in our 30s and late 20s, intent on making screenwriting our full-time profession. We have all been writing for several years with several scripts under our collective belts. We leverage this group as a valuable (and inexpensive) resource for feedback and as a sounding board for pitches, loglines, etc. before submitting to contests and pitching to industry contacts in LA and New York.
