I've been tutoring SAT, PSAT, and ACT Prep off and on since 1997. I worked for Ivy West, Kaplan, Cardinal, and other high-end test prep companies before I began tutoring test prep full time on my own in late 2008. In early 2009, I took the SAT I that is currently out and scored 2390 out of 2400 (790, 800, 800). That is a very high score even for a SAT Prep specialist.
I know the material that is covered on these tests, and I can explain it well enough that almost anyone can grasp it. My students almost always make impressive gains in part because I am a patient and talented tutor.
