About
Founded in September of 2014, San Jose Nuevo Flamenco was formed by two aficionados and dance enthusiasts who enjoy the beauty, drama, and passion of flamenco. Both individuals are a practicing artists. A collaborative group, helmed by Robert Ragazza and Yuli “Sayuri” Norrish”, San Jose Nuevo Flamenco aim to showcase traditional and contemporary flamencos bridging artistry thru collaborations, and to make it accessible to intergenerational audience. The company strives to expand and presents the tradition’s expressive range through innovative collaboration with other artists.
FLAMENCO FRIDAY is a dance and music series presented monthly in Silicon Valley and beyond. It’s a platform for artists to collaborate, create, engage, and showcase their talents to wider audience. Intimate in setting, it’s design for the audience to interact and experience the dramatic beauty of flamenco.
