San Francisco Wedding Photographer, Mary McHenry serves the Bay Area, Sonoma County, Marin, and Napa Valley, California.
Documenting life became my passion when I received my first camera at age 13. I find the whole process from the click of the shutter to the editing of images fascinating and magical.
These days, my main focus is in wedding, portrait, and editorial work. I am currently the head photographer for a Microsoft published magazine, which focuses on the non-profit organizations that it supports in the San Francisco Bay Area.
With whatever it is that I am photographing, my main goal is to reveal the connection that exists between people -and tell that story with beautiful lighting and interesting composition. The simple truth is, I want to make the world a little better by making pictures that make people happy.
I was born and raised on the coast of Maine and have lived in Australia, Spain, New Mexico, Miami, and New York. These days you'll find me in Oakland, CA with my husband, children, and dog. My personal projects center around the places I visit and the people I love.
