It is our pleasure to announce that preparations for the 8th Annual San Francisco Medical Cannabis Competition are underway! Known as “The Patients’ Choice,” our annual event is now in its eighth year and the success of this event is credited to our sponsors, entrants, patient-judges and beneficiaries. All proceeds raised from this event will benefit the activities of California NORML. We are beyond excited to announce this year's Awards Celebration will be held at SOMA StrEat Food Park in San Francisco! The festivities are set for Saturday, November 29, 2014, from 11 am to 8 pm, and we're hoping to make the 2014 SFMCC even bigger and better than year's past. There will be food trucks, games, prizes, and entertainment galore! The Red Hots Burlesque Troupe will be joining us again this year for a special reefer madness themed performance that is not to be missed. The goal of this event is to provide Bay Area qualified medical cannabis patients a sampling of the varieties of medicine they will likely find available at local MCDs throughout the year, meanwhile providing cultivators, collectives and cooperatives an opportunity to showcase their best strains, edibles and concentrates to patient-judges with highly refined tastes. Contestants will be given the opportunity to win up to 16 different trophies at this year's SFMCC! We will be offering 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies in 3 categories: Indica, Sativa and Hybrid. We will also be including the best overall CBD strain category for the second year in a row. Ticket(s) available for pick-up on the day of the event. So please make sure to tell your friends!
