* Advocate for film preservation and become a state-of-the-art repository for donations of historic films, related items, and oral histories.
* Introduce the public to the films, locations, and theaters of the Bay Area’s cinematic past.
* Honor the diverse individuals who have made contributions to Bay Area filmmaking.
* Engage the public, students, filmmakers, and artists who are continually rewriting the history of film in the Bay Area.
