The San Carlos Art & Wine Faire bursts onto the fall scene and celebrates its 28th year on Saturday and Sunday, October 6 and 7, 2018 from 10 am to 6pm both days. Sponsored by the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce, this fun-filled, outdoor family event features something for everyone including a bountiful array of beautiful artwork and hand-created crafts, live entertainment, NEW Escape Zone, classic and hot rod car show, some of the area’s finest wines and craft brews, delectable food and so much more!

Nestled in the heart of downtown San Carlos, this celebrated fall festival offers two full days of enjoyment for all ages. Two special areas of the event include a Family Fun Zone with a variety of children’s activities and the all new Escape Zone featuring family games, great food, and one of the country’s first mobile escape rooms. This fun, hands on, challenging game requires teamwork and communication and is great for friends/families with children 8 years old and up, and adult teams of up to 11 people.

San Carlos Art & Wine Faire is THE place to find the wonderful creations by more than 250 talented artisans. These makers handcraft their work and will be displaying their talents in the form of ceramics, wearables, sculpture, wall art, toys and much more. Faire-goers will have the opportunity to meet the artisans, see the passion in their work and select early holiday gifts or treasures for themselves!

A great variety of musical performances during the weekend are sure to get your toes tapping! Among the groups scheduled: Rockin’ country band Toree McGee, Santana tribute band Caravanserai, 60’s rock band The RiPTiDEs, classic rock group The E-Ticket Band, Chicago and Steely Dan tribute band Stealin’ Chicago & Aja Vu along with other jazz, soul and reggae bands.

Toast to one another’s health with varieties from local wineries: Coppola, Cuvée Wine Cellars, Domenico Winery, Flying Suitcase Wines, JaM Cellars, Josh Cellars. Tickle your nose with sparkling wines from Coppola Winery, Ruffino, and Mumm Brut and clink glasses over beers on tap from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, hard ciders from Redwood Coast Cider, as well as margaritas, Bloody Marys and Moscow mules.
