Rodney Artiles & Chukes
Mutual Respect: Canvas and Clay
December 7 – December 30, 2007
Opening Reception Friday, December 7, 2007 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Open to the public

Recognizing each other’s innate passion and creativity, painter, Rodney Artiles, and sculptor, Chukes, have evolved their respective forms of creative expression in a new exhibit entitled: Mutual Respect: Canvas and Clay. The inspiration for this exhibit stems from the decade long friendship between the painter and the sculptor. Artiles and Chukes explore each other’s media in appreciation of their artistic growth and achievement—the painter now sculpts and the sculptor now paints. The admiration Artiles and Chukes have for each other’s work and creative processes come together in diverse works on canvas and paper, in clay and bronze.
