About
Established writers group (multi-gender / multicultural) looking for 2 to 3 new members. Meets at a cafe in Rockridge and Elmwood every other Thursday. Strictly fiction but memoirs may also be welcom. We are a supportive group with good rapport. Format: No reading during the meeting. We submit excerpts of our work (8-10 pages) and we critique them during the meeting (similar to the format at Squaw Valley workshops). We have no facilitator. Our membership run the gamut from beginners to published novelist to writers with agents and indie publishers. The only thing we ask is that you are serious about the craft and make an attempt to regualrly attend the meetings. Contact Enrico at [email protected].
