About
How We Got Our Name?
In the spring of 1994 the Hotdog Church began in the inner city of San Francisco's tenderloin district. The homeless and the poor enjoyed being able to hear an encouraging Word and then as an added bonus, eat a good hot meal. We served all types of foods in the beginning but it was the hotdogs that soon became the favorite meal. The word spread very quickly on the streets of San Francisco. There's a place where you can get some Good News, some help and a hot meal at, "The Hotdog Church."
