Prerogatives is proud to be a unique source for the birth of GLBT lifestyle products. We were founded by my sister, Jenni Wilson in 1989, and started as a gay pride company. Today we sell over 8,000 items, ranging from music to home video, lifestyle gifts to books, tee shirts and underwear, sex toys and other adult entertainment. Our journey often begins by finding new artists who are trying to get their products into the consumer market. We are a launchpad, a "gayway" of sorts, guiding artists to retailers and finally to the consumer. There is so much creativity in our world just waiting to be discovered, and especially in our community it cannot stay in the closet.
