Sarah Filley and Alfonso Dominguez launched popuphood SM in September of 2011 in Old Oakland, CA. This pilot location served as a testing ground for our initiative to rethink retail and the role it plays in revitalizing our cities. We are passionate urbanists creating partnerships to solve epic problems, starting with a city we know and love while participating in the global conversation of social entrepreneurship and positive impact.
