About
Plouf is known for its French influenced seafood. The mussels are a must, so once you've settled in, select a plate. The mussels, with garlic & parsley, served on a bed on mashed potatoes are particularly good and complimentary to bread and wine. If you're not so big on mussels, the warm spinach salad also makes a good starter. For the main course, try the sea bass; flaky, moist, firm and generously adorned with a mushroom saute. If not the sea bass, be sure to decide on a fish dish; and you would be wise to inquire about the daily specials. Desert? The Tart Tartin, served with a dollop of ice cream, is a little sweet but the ice creams and sorbets are very good; especially the mango and passion fruit, which are almost perfect in their ice/sweet/tart ratio.
