With their healthy selection of both new and used CDs, the average listener who doesn't know the difference between prog rock and punk rock won't feel out of place, but all in all, DJs and record collectors flock to OMM's vinyl collection. The selection seems evenly dispersed across the many musical realms of house, techno, downtempo, jazz, blues, hip hop, reggae/dancehall, funk, soul, folk, rock, punk, and indie. They even have collections of vintage electronica, oldies, and exotica/lounge, and also sections for uncelebrated genres like children's, kitschy Christian music (which they've termed "God Squad"), and comedy.
