Description

Want to hear what NASA's been up to lately? NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador Eric Norris presents a multimedia program on current and future NASA missions to the solar system in the Redwood Room at the Santa Clara Central Park Library. Norris will provide an update on Kepler's search for other earths, the Mars Curiosity rover being launched next year, and the status of missions to the asteroid belt and outer planets. He'll also talk about how to stargaze from light-polluted backyards, including what objects can be seen best, and what type of telescope works best. To reserve a space at this free NASA/Stargazing program, stop by the library's reference desk or call 408.615.2900. - Tony Smith sanjose.com
