Grandmaster Mountain Kim, the President and founder of Mountain Kim Martial Arts, was the first person to start a Tae Kwon Do school in the metropolitan area. Today, with over 20 locations and 38 years of experience in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, his dojangs feature world federation style Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Haidong Gumdo (sword), Kickboxing, and Hapkido.
