About
Cesar Gonzales, who worked at the swanky Carnelian Room for many years, has finally branched out to pursue his passion of running a Filipino Restaurant. The name "Miche's" was inspired by his daughter's name, Michelle. The place, Mission Plaza (where Lucky Supermarket is also located) is near the top of the hill in Daly City.
Cesar has chosen to initially keep much of the menu from the former tenant, Q Cups. They featured sweet drinks, ice cream, and crepes. But with Cesar, those items become the backdrop to a new centerpiece; traditional Filipino food with a unique sensibility given years of experience.
He wants to cook for you, put a smile on your face and bring warmth to your belly.
If you've never tried Filipino food or know it well, Miche's is definitely worth a try. Don't let the strip mall setting fool you.
