As of March 2008, McCaig-Welles and Michael Rosenthal Contemporary Art have joined forces to become "McCaig-Welles & Rosenthal" with galleries in Brooklyn and San Francisco. The merger’s primary goal is to enable artists to exhibit their work in New York and San Francisco in an innovative and exciting program. McCaig-Welles Gallery, owned by Melissa McCaig-Welles, officially opened its doors in December 2000 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Eight years later, the gallery continues to focus on cutting edge artists who have exhibited in solo shows and art fairs all over the world.
