About
Mario Gallina specializes in the treatment of pain and helping his patients achieve long-term relief from numerous musculoskeletal conditions. He takes the time to learn not only about his patients’ symptoms, but also about their general health, lifestyle choices and emotional well-being. He creates partnerships with his patients to develop the right treatment plans for their specific goals.
Mario holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara; a master of science degree in traditional Chinese medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine; and a certificate in Tui Na massage. He did a clinical internship for stroke rehabilitation at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and a clinical internship for pain and addiction at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Mario has also done post-graduate work at the private clinic of renowned acupuncturist Dr. Wang Ju Yi in Beijing and at the Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China.
