Italian, American. The word "big" hardly does justice to Maggiano's concept of super-sized dishes for family-style dining. Like a warm Italian embrace, this Santana Row superstar has already proven a welcome haven for company lunches and congenial dinner parties. The Italian food is a cut above standard, with creative salads, roast chicken and veal marsala standing out. The desert list is divine.
