Many great things come from Japan: Godzilla...sushi...underrated metal bands. From the land of the rising sun comes Loudness, making a stop in the South Bay as part of their 30th Anniversary U.S. Tour. Since 1981, past band members have come and gone, yet in 2000, original members Minoru Niihara (vocals), Akira Takasaki (guitar), Masayoshi Yamashita (bass) and Munetaka Higuchi (drums) reunited. Unfortunately, Higuchi passed away in 2008. So, Masayuki Suzuki stepped in and Loudness has never sounded better, incorporating more of an old school thrash metal sound.
