Description
Hungry for a great musical repast? Hungry for musical variety? Just hungry? Join the Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco as it opens its 29th season with “LGCSF Eats Out”, a classical concert on the subject of food.Under the direction of Stephanie Lynne Smith, the chorus serves up aural morsels by favorite Bay Area composers. Classical choral arrangements are given the nod by contemporary composers, producing a captivating blend of old and new. “LGCSF Eats Out” highlights music from queer, local and GMO-free composers.
Ever the musical gourmands, the chorus focuses this fall’s classical concert on subjects ranging from roast lamb, to the glory of cheese, to potlucks, to the caffeine fixes that keep us going throughout the day.
From the 17th century to the 1940’s to tunes of the moment, “LGCSF Eats Out” is sure to satisfy the pickiest listener. This musical banquet is appropriate for all ages.
