Aloha is how Letarte greets the world.  

Sisters Lisa Letarte Cabrinha and Michele Letarte debuted their Maui-based label of swimwear, coordinating cover-ups, and sportswear in 2000. What began as a single swimsuit sold at a beachside bungalow, has grown to become an iconic label synonymous with a luxe Hawaiian lifestyle.

Since opening its first boutique in Maui, Letarte has expanded its list of prestigious locations to include New York City, Greenwich, Palm Beach, Malibu, Newport Beach, and most recently, Santana Row in San Jose. In addition to its freestanding stores and seasonal boutiques, Letarte is sold in specialty retail stores and resorts around the world.

Maui-based designer Lisa, infuses her jet-setting lifestyle and spirit of Aloha into Letarte's signature prints, intricate adornments, and lavish detail. New York City-based Michele's urban and contemporary vision complements the brand's fresh and innovative designs.  An elegant balance of function, fit, style, and sophistication is found throughout Letarte's growing product offering, which now includes cashmere, after-sun skincare, and children's swim & beachwear.

Over the past 15 years, the coveted brand has developed a devoted fan base of loyal customers worldwide, including endorsements from Hollywood's finest and internationally acclaimed media. Letarte designs have been spotted in top fashion and lifestyle magazines including Elle, InStyle, Marie Claire, Self, and Women's Wear Daily. In addition, more than 50 swimsuits have graced the pages of the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, including two covers in 2005 and 2013.

Letarte was proudly inducted into the Made in USA Hall of Fame in 2012.
