Description
Ever wondered what it was like to dine on the last meal served on the R.M.S. Titanic before it's fateful end? The Fairmont Hotel and executive chef Daniel Maurice are offering the exact same culinary experience, minus the capsized mess. The only icebergs on this voyage will be the lettuce. First Course: Hors D'Oeuvres and Oysters a la Russe. Second Course: Consomme Olga. Third Course: Poached Salmon with Mousseline Sauce. Fourth Course: Filet Mignons Lili and Potatoes Anna. Fifth Course: Calvados-Glazed Roast Duckling with Apple Sauce Rice Timbale. Sixth Course: Punch Romaine. Seventh Course: Roasted Squab on Wilted Cress. Eighth Course: Asparagus Salad with Champagne Saffron – Vinaigrette. Ninth Course: Chocolate Painted Eclairs with Vanilla Cream. After Dinner: Petit-Fours. The evening will include live classical music, period dressed staff, and a warm wonderful night to remember. The cost is $125 per person for the dinner, and a “Titanic Stateroom Suite Package for Two” may be availed at $189 per person plus tax. -Tony Smith sanjose.comMore Info
