Your session will be a splendid array of natural massage, gentle rocking, careful stretching, rhythmic compression, gentle traction and elaborate point-work.

Just like a Swedish Massage, your only job here is to relax and enjoy your session.

Thai Massage in the 'Old Medicine Hospital Style' is an Ancient Thai/Buddhist Classical Healing Art.

Thai Massage is a system of movement education i.e., yoga, that is based entirely on ancient principles of energy balancing...(influenced by Thai, Tibetan, Indian, Chinese, Mongolian and more.)

The founder of this Classical Thai Healing Art is a Tibetan Rishi whom we call 'Shivago'. He was a famous ancient physician. We say 'Om Namo Shivago' to remember and honor the Father Doctor.

I am a member of The International Thai Therapist Association, ThaiMassage.com. My teacher is a Master Instructor and is authorized to give these teachings through the Buddhai Sawan and Buntautuk Shivago -ancient lineages- of Thai Buddhism. Also, of course, the Thai Ministry of Education!

There are less than ten "non-Thai" practitioners and instructors who have been given the traditional titles, blessings and authorizations to pass on the ancient work from the major traditional schools.

These ceremonies are never done in private and are well documented. When Dr. James received his recognitions for more than 20 years of teaching and promotions for the Thai healing arts there were more than 3000 persons in attendance and representatives from every major school and institution were present as well as all major related branches of Thai government such as Department of Health, Education, Labor and Social Services and the Prime Minister of Thailand Thaksin Shinawatra and the Governor General of TAT.

In 2002 Dr. James was the first and only western Instructor of Traditional Thai Medicine and Massage to receive this honor.
